Judith was a real friend to many people. I have many happy memories spent with her on holidays in Exeter. She was a kind and generous lady. A day I will always remember was our visit to Salcombe in Devon. My sister and I were evacuees there during the war. The lady we lived with owned a sweet shop and we lived on the premises. The sweet shop named Cranches was still there. I shared some of my memories with Judith. I bought a painting of Salcombe to remember the occasion and an enjoyable day spent with a special friend.
